The Pasadena Unified Board of Education is revising the district's Strategic Plan to develop a ten-year vision that builds on our schools' accomplishments, sets goals for future achievement, and reflects the perspectives of PUSD's diverse community. Over the past two years, the District's Approach to Excellence initiatives have identified specific areas for urgent reform, while laying a solid foundation for long-term success. The strategic plan process will update the District's vision, mission, and goals and incorporate them into the current direction and priorities.
The Board of Education and district staff have developed a working draft (en Español) to provide a starting point for the strategic plan process. Over the next few months, PUSD is taking the working draft to the parents, students, residents and business in Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre to ensure that the strategic plan reflects the hopes, values and vision of our diverse communities.
